The Vulcan Foundry of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, built 88 of the 2-10-0 Skyliners for the Turkish Railways from 1947 to 1949. They were among the largest steam locomotives in Turkey, and the among the largest locomotives Vulcan ever built.
