Join the CRP&A for an upcoming weekend event on Zoom featuring three fantastic photographers exploring unique perspectives by rail – by drone, from the engineer’s seat, and through passenger windows.

Jen Al-Beik, ABOVE
A veterinarian by trade, Jen took up a passion for railroad photography after her son became interested in railfanning. As a newcomer to the hobby, Jen now enjoys taking images from both the ground and from the air by drone.

Daniela Holbíková, ABOARD
A railroad engineer from the Czech Republic, Daniela will share views from inside České dráhy, Czech Railways.

Stacey Evans, BEYOND
An artist, photograph, and educator living in Charlottesville, Virginia. Stacey is interested in how people occupy, shape, and transform the land for use, and how our experience and feelings change over time. She will share her personal narrative of her relationship with trains, beginning with when she first boarded a train to making photographs and how she presents them.

This event is free.
