The National Railroad Passenger Corporation, better known as Amtrak, turned fifty years old on May 1, 2021. To celebrate, we prepared a “50 Years of Amtrak” photography gallery, drawing from our collections and the recent work of a few of our board members. We’ve included a photograph from each year of Amtrak’s existence, dating back to 1971, plus a few bonuses.
